Welcome to the Oak Park Windmills pro team! Our dedicated coaches are committed to fostering a love for softball and developing the skills of our players. They bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to every practice and game.
Nadia Ranieri - YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COACH
Coach Nadia is passionate about mentoring young athletes and instilling the values of teamwork and sportsmanship. With a focus on technique and strategy, she provides valuable guidance to players. Coach Nadia was a pitcher at Augustana College where she was Team Captain, CCIW Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-State in her senior year.
Jessica Mrozek - HITTING COACH
Coach Jessica's extensive knowledge of hitting mechanics and form empowers our batters to sharpen their skills and approach the plate with confidence. She played softball at Fenwick High School in Oak Park before going on to play softball for James Madison University. There she was a standout hitter recording 22 hits and 22 RBIs in her final season.
Sean Ruland - CATCHING COACH
Coach Sean provides catching training as part of our catcher’s club. In addition to coaching for the Windmills, he is currently a coach on Fenwick High School’s varsity softball team. He has coached catchers at a variety of ages for several years now and brings a wealth of catching expertise to this program.
Kayla Faber - PITCHING COACH
Coach Kayla's is an expert former college pitcher that loves to share her passion for softball. Coach Kayla recently graduated from Dominican University where she was named NACC Pitcher of the Year leading her team to their highest ever number of wins, an NACC championship and a NCAA Tournament berth. Before college she
played softball at IC College Prep in Elmhurst.
Carolyn Yusa - POSITION COACH
Coach Carolyn is the first ever female baseball coach at Fenwick High School. Prior to this she assisted the Fenwick Softball team and helped guide them to their highest IHSA finish ever - a Class 3A Third Place Trophy. Carolyn played softball at Loras College where she played 2nd and 3rd base and was a slap hitter. She brings her passion and expertise to the Windmills where she provides position-specific coaching.
